Try it on your conversationOrbiting. It describes someone who stays visible in your posts — views, likes, reactions — while not answering your messages. The word names the behaviour, not the reason for it; there is a fuller answer at What is orbiting in dating?.
That he is typing your name in rather than seeing you in a feed, which takes slightly more effort than following would. It still says nothing about what he would do with a message, which is the only thing you actually wanted to know.
The viewer list cannot answer that and neither can the gap. What answers it is whether the last thing he said to you was open or closed: a busy week leaves a question hanging, and a soft exit closes everything before it goes quiet. There is a longer version at is he ghosting me, or just busy.

It cannot tell you that. Watching is something people do while deciding nothing. What he did the last time you asked him something direct tells you considerably more.
