Not by asking for him back. The first message after you hurt someone has 1 job: show him you saw what you did. A second chance, if there is one, comes after that, and it is his to offer.

It puts the apology and the request in the same breath. Read from his side, the apology now looks like the price of the request. He is not sure you are sorry. He is sure you want something.
Split them. The apology goes first, on its own, with nothing attached. Anything about getting back together waits until he has answered it.
Go back through the thread and find where he told you what hurt. Not your summary of it. His sentence.
If he said it feels like i'm always the one making room for you, then i'm sorry for everything misses him. you said you were always the one making room for me. you were right does not. He will recognize his own words, and that is how he knows you actually heard them.
you said it felt like you were always the one making room for me. you were right, and i kept doing it after you told me. i'm sorry. you don't owe me an answer
That names the thing, owns it without explaining it, and takes the pressure off his reply. More on the parts of an apology in how to apologize over text.
He may not answer for days, or at all. Silence right after an apology is not a no. It is often someone deciding whether to believe it. A second message inside that window reads as needing an answer, and it undoes the first.
If he does answer, answer what he wrote. If he is angry, let him be angry in that message without defending yourself. Getting him back, if it happens, is built out of the next few conversations, not out of this one text.
If he blocked you, asked for no contact, or told you to stop reaching out, the apology stays unsent. Wanting him back does not make it okay to push contact.
Not in the first hours after the fight either, and not if the real reason is that you need to feel better tonight. Write it, keep it, and read it again tomorrow. Sending nothing today is a normal result, not a failure.
Paste the fight and your draft. It reads them against this person — what he actually said hurt, how he goes quiet, and what ended it last time — not against a general idea of men.
Then it writes the apology in 3 parts you can edit separately, and says whether to send it now or wait. When it says hold off, it still gives you the message.
His messages are never stored. Only your own lines are saved, so the drafts sound like you.
